the story is the only drawback because its all made up Warriors Orochi style to mix and match all the pilots into one plotline. For everything else i found 3 the best of the series. If you care for the actual Gundam plotlines then i would go to 2. I could go on and on about this game, but I'll stop here. Likewise, if you're in a bind this system is awesome for escaping. Just like Dynasty Warriors 7 and to a lesser extent Fist of the North Star, they've tossed in ways to cancel combos to make them more deadly, essentially opening up the combo system to allow more freedom and experimenting.

For the Dynasty Warriors series it's really a technical marvel and it doesn't hurt that it's a hell of a lot of fun to play as well. It's a little bit too easy, but aside from that it's leaps and bounds better than their usual builds, it actually has polish.Įnemies don't disappear and the game runs damn near flawlessly at 60 FPS, to be honest, I've played over 60 hours and haven't noticed a single FPS drop. This isn't just the better of the DW: Gundam series, but, and I can't believe I'm about to say this considering I'm a Musou fan only, not a Gundam fan, not even a little, but this is the best Dynasty Warriors game yet.
